Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in internal auditing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, conducting audits, identifying process deficiencies, and designing effective risk strategies. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for all client-related issues, ensuring effective and professional communication.
  • Audit Planning & Delegation: Plan and allocate work for yourself and your team based on project requirements and deadlines.
  • Audit Execution: Independently close out audits with minimal supervision, ensuring comprehensive coverage and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Knowledge Updates: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in risk management, statutory regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify deficiencies in processes and documentation and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Policy & Procedure Development: Develop policies, procedures, risk assessments, control frameworks, operating models, and strategies for process optimization.
  • Risk Consulting: Provide risk consulting services in accordance with established standards, while staying aligned with industry updates.
  • Strategy Implementation: Design and implement customized risk management strategies for clients to mitigate risks and optimize operations.
  • Quality & Compliance Reviews: Conduct and coordinate quality assurance and compliance reviews of internal audit projects.
  • Internal Audit Projects: Handle assignments related to internal audits, financial controls, SOP design, process audits, enterprise risk management, and control assessments.
  • Team Development: Contribute to the professional development of team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Management Communication: Effectively communicate ideas and policies to senior management to support decision-making.
Requirements

Skills and Competencies:

  • Internal Audit Expertise: Extensive experience in internal audit processes, including methodologies for conducting risk assessments, regulatory strategy reviews, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, resolve problems, and innovate.
  • Team Leadership: Capable of managing and mentoring a team, maintaining high standards of work, and encouraging professional growth.
  • Business Process Knowledge: In-depth understanding of key business processes such as Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), HR payroll, production, and legal/statutory compliance.
  • Control Rationalization: Expertise in assessing, optimizing, and ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
  • Data Analytics Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques; knowledge of advanced data analytical tools is an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with MS Office, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE), and other audit-related software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, senior management, and team members.
