Senior Scrum Master/Project Manager Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Scrum Master with project management expertise to lead an international project in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English, able to facilitate team meetings and ensure smooth progress. They must also possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to foster a productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
  • Conduct Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives: Facilitate team meetings to ensure smooth progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist Team in Understanding Agile Principles: Help the team implement agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Identify and Resolve Obstacles: Proactively address any challenges hindering team progress.
  • Monitor Progress and Ensure Alignment with Project Goals: Track team performance using Azure DevOps dashboards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree: A relevant academic qualification is required.
  • Certified Scrum Master with +5 Years of Experience: Strong experience in Scrum certification and agile project management.
  • +5 Years of Experience as Agile Project Management (Scrum, Kanban, etc.): Proven track record in leading projects using agile frameworks.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft: Advantageous but not necessary.
  • Experience in Leading and Guiding Small to Medium-Sized Development Teams: Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong Facilitation Skills for Agile Ceremonies: Excellent facilitation skills for daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Ability to Remove Impediments and Ensure Smooth Project Execution: Strong problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset and Ability to Foster a Productive Work Environment: Willingness to continuously improve processes and foster a positive work environment.
