Software Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in software testing and quality assurance. We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team and ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of software development methodologies.

We require someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who can work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate system functionality, performance, and security.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Conduct regression testing, functional testing, UI testing, and integration testing for software applications.
  • Ensure test coverage of software modules and features.
  • Use automated testing tools (such as Selenium, Provar, or Tosca) to automate test cases.
  • Validate APIs, workflows, and data integrity within the software ecosystem.
  • Work closely with the development team in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, JIRA, TestNG).
  • Understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Software testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
