Manual Test Analyst Role

As a manual test analyst, you will be responsible for testing software products to ensure their quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating detailed test cases to support business activities
  • Identifying areas of improvement in the testing lifecycle and sharing these with the test team to reduce time to deployment and ensure quality of test deliverables
  • Documenting mildly complex processes or procedures that may be beneficial to other testers
  • Participating in planning, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog grooming as appropriate
  • Investing in personal training and development to maintain and advance your performance over time

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years commercial manual software testing experience
  • Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience planning the application and reporting of internal and external testing phases
  • Time spent working in cross-functional team environments
  • Good working knowledge of testing management tools, such as TestRail and JIRA
  • Good working knowledge of relevant technologies and concepts, including SQL Server, Client/Server applications, CRM, Postman, Utilities industry
  • Good working knowledge of SQL statements and REST API
  • Experience in supporting junior testers
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related degree or comparable professional development and commercial experience
  • ISTQB Foundation certification

Working Environment:

You will be expected to work independently or as part of a cross-functional project team, where you will be testing software products to provide assurance to our customers of the quality of their release.
