Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an experienced Field Service Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom solutions within Salesforce Field Service (FSL).

  • You will configure and customize FSL features such as scheduling, dispatching, optimization, mobile workflows, and work orders.
  • Additionally, you will develop and maintain integrations between FSL and other systems, using APIs and middleware.
  • A strong focus on collaboration with business stakeholders is required, including gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Code reviews and adherence to coding best practices and standards are also essential.
  • Furthermore, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to FSL implementations are key responsibilities of the role.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, particularly in the FSL domain, is vital.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, as well as contributing to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, are additional aspects of the job.
  • Lastly, participation in Agile/Scrum development processes is expected.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Field Service.
  • Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development tools.
  • A deep understanding of Salesforce FSL architecture, data model, and functionality.
  • Experience with FSL mobile app customization and offline capabilities.
  • Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, and experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems.
  • A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
