Job Title: Nurse Department Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse leader to lead our dynamic nursing department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of a team of approximately 15 nurses, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and the efficient operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the nursing team.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and patient flow.
  • Policies & Procedures: Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Care Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Budget Management: Manage resources effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Customer Service: Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in nursing practice and healthcare regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (essential).
  • Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice (or eligible for registration).
  • Experience in a nursing leadership role (preferably in a hospital or health center setting).
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of nurses.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems.
