As a key member of our healthcare organization, the Revenue Cycle Management Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patient information and documentation throughout the revenue cycle process. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering the revenue cycle process from patient admission to final payment, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. They will monitor and manage the flow of patient information and documentation, including insurance verification and authorization, medical coding, and billing.
This role involves working closely with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing and reimbursement issues. The Associate will also be responsible for managing the collection of patient copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances, while ensuring that the billing and coding processes are in compliance with the healthcare organization's policies and procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as days in accounts receivable, denied claims, and payment trends will be monitored and analyzed by the Associate, who will provide recommendations for improvement. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
