Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned deployment professional to oversee the setup and management of cloud environments, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure.

This role requires hands-on experience in Linux systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud orchestration technologies. The ideal candidate will also possess scripting proficiency and automation skills to streamline cloud deployments and infrastructure operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux operating systems on physical and virtual platforms, as well as installing and managing hypervisors, including KVM, VMware ESXi, and XenServer.

Additionally, they will implement private and public cloud infrastructure using OpenStack, Apache CloudStack, or other orchestration platforms, and write and maintain automation scripts for deployment and operational tasks.

They will also use Ansible and Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management, and implement monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Collaboration with physical infrastructure teams to set up and troubleshoot hardware, storage systems, and network configurations is also required.

Documentation of architecture designs, implementation plans, SOPs, and deployment workflows is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in deployment engineering.
  • Strong command over Linux system administration with proven troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms: KVM, VMware, Xen.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying cloud orchestration platforms like OpenStack or CloudStack.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages – Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools – Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana.
