Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilize your technical expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native solutions.

Your Role

You will play a crucial role in:

  • Developing and maintaining backend services using Python.
  • Designing and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab CI.
  • Working with Docker for containerization and deployment.
  • Managing and optimizing relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
  • Collaborating with DevOps teams to implement infrastructure as code.
  • Building and consuming APIs, including GraphQL.
  • Using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Graphene, and SQLAlchemy.
  • Writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices in version control using Git.
  • Operating in Unix-based environments and writing Bash scripts for automation.
Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud architectures.
  2. Developing and maintaining cloud-based applications using modern technologies.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  4. Maintaining and improving existing cloud infrastructure to meet business needs.
  5. Identifying areas for cost optimization and implementing solutions to reduce expenses.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 6–12 years of experience in backend software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab CI, Docker, and Bash.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and libraries like Graphene.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience working in agile teams and client-facing environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
