About This Role

The Affordable Housing Analyst is a critical member of our team, playing a pivotal role in structuring affordable housing deals and securing funding from various governmental sources.

This position involves preparing detailed financial models and supporting documentation to ensure the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate financial projections for Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Tax-Exempt Bonds, State, County, and City funding sources
  • Creating comprehensive support documentation for funding applications, including MS Word and Adobe PDF formats
  • Monitoring and tracking of documents and checklists to ensure timely completion
  • Researching new funding opportunities and expansion prospects to drive business growth
  • Participating in the development finance process, including predevelopment and construction closing, conversion, and compliance

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Real Estate, Underwriting, Financial Modelling, or Financial Research
  • Background in Financial Analysis, Project/Infrastructure finance, Credit Analysis, Valuation, and Balance Sheet Analysis is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF is essential

This role requires excellent oral and written communication skills, a high degree of initiative, responsibility, diligence, and professionalism. You will work remotely as part of a team and be available from 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 midnight.
