Job Description

As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data pipelines to meet the business requirements of our organization. This involves creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture, building scalable data pipelines using SQL and AWS 'Big Data' technologies, and assembling large complex data sets that meet functional non-functional business requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipeline architecture to ensure efficient data processing and delivery
  • Build scalable data pipelines using SQL and AWS 'Big Data' technologies to extract transform and deliver data from various sources
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new integrations and processes required for optimal extraction transformation and loading of data
  • Implement processes and systems to validate data monitor data quality and ensure production data accuracy and availability
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with relevant skills and knowledge
  • Strong understanding of big data tools including Pyspark Python Hadoop eco system relational SQL data pipeline and workflow management tools object-oriented/object function scripting languages Python Agile methodology test-driven development source control management and automated testing
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
