Job Title: Cloud Architecture Expert

  • The primary responsibility of the architect is to plan/design and guide customers about their SAP landscape on the SAP RISE Platform.
  • The selected candidate will perform similar responsibilities to guide SAP customers about their landscape on the SAP RISE Platform.
  • The SAP RISE Platform offers all the latest SAP technologies (products) with options for customers to select their own hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

This role involves closely working with the SAP presales team to understand customer requirements for their landscape and creating their to-be landscape architecture/design based on their SAP product/inrastructure selection.

  • This CAA team member works closely with customer leaders and their technical teams to discuss landscape architecture (setup & build process, dependencies etc.).
  • This customer-facing role requires joining meetings, answering technical queries from customer teams, and presenting assessments.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves several key responsibilities including:

  • Billing Material Review & Analysis.
  • Reviewing technical accuracy of Billing Material to validate that no obsolete version product (ECC etc.) is selected to build on SAP RISE platform.
  • Providing feedback to the Sales Team on Billing Material to confirm if selected product and version is available to build.
  • Performing technical validation of customer landscape to validate Product version build viability.
  • Analyzing Early Watch Reports & Technical Data to validate hardware selection/sizing.
  • Working closely with Sales Team on architecture, landscape, and to-be sizing.
  • Sizing the to-be Landscape for Migrations.
  • Customer Deal Support – Pre-Signature.
  • Preparing Technical Assessments to discuss with Customer and explain about their to-be landscape.
  • Conducting Technical Assessments with customers.
  • Performing workshops with customer (networking, HA concepts, RACI reviews).
  • Customer Deal Support – Post Signature.
  • Onboarding Questionnaire Support (assist customer with questions on onboarding).
  • Answering questions of customer relating to delivery.
  • Providing delivery with key information during sales cycle.
  • Providing turnover to delivery of key items during sales cycle.
  • Answering questions of delivery specific to the delivery.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect.
  • Raised Experience on SAP Basis, SAP HANA, and S/4 HANA skills.
  • Migration/Upgrades experience and any cloud (AWS, MS Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent communication skill to articulate complex ideas.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
