System Integration Developer

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our integration team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing and supporting system integration solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, architects and other developers to deliver robust integration solutions that enable seamless communication between diverse systems.

  • Designing, developing, testing and deploying system integration flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
  • Developing and maintaining message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes and other integration components
  • Collaborating with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to integration and middleware components
  • Performing unit testing, integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of integration solutions
  • Documenting design, development and operational procedures
  • Working with other middleware technologies and tools as needed (e.g., MQ, REST/SOAP services)
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Supporting production deployments and providing post-deployment support

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience as an IIB Developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10 or later)
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java and message flow development
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns
  • Experience with XML, JSON and related data transformation techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
