Job Title: Middleware Integration Specialist

Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires the candidate to design, develop and maintain complex integration services and APIs based on industry standards and best practices using IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM Message Queue, IBM DataPower and IBM API Connect products.

The Middleware Integration Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support for bank's IT projects that involve integration between applications through the IBM middleware products listed above. This includes configuration fixes, code fixes, end-to-end testing support, user acceptance testing, performance and security testing support.

The specialist will also perform all required monitoring activities for the supported systems, including operation of utilities to support customer system and data implementations.

Responsible for maintenance and emergency response outside of normal business hours as necessary to maintain general application health and/or system upgrades.

Responsible for issue resolution & support in RCA analysis for Production incidents. Follow proper escalation processes to meet or exceed target resolution timeframes.

Principal Accountabilities include designing, developing & supporting Webservices/APIs used for integration of application systems, and liaising between the infrastructure and the applications groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering;
  • IBM Professional Certification on IBM App Connect Enterprise (or Integration Bus);
  • Experience in design, development & support of IT software solutions with at least 8 years experience;
  • Hands-on experience in design and development of integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQ, IBM DataPower and IBM API Connect products;
  • Experience in API (RESTful) and Web Services design, development and testing;
  • Programming experience in Java & J2EE systems;
