Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated SAP Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using SAP technology.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP S/4HANA, HANA Database, and MDG. You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to our customers on the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. This includes presenting the value proposition of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and supporting sales teams during the entire cycle.

You will also be responsible for organizing technical responses to RFP / RFI's and blueprinting customer requirements around HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, networks, etc.

Additionally, you will work to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams.

In this role, you will own the technical discussions with the customer on the Private Cloud Edition topic and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the Cloud Architecture & Advisory organization as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using SAP technology.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers on the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
  • Present the value proposition of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition to customers.
  • Support sales teams during the entire cycle.
  • Organize technical responses to RFP / RFI's.
  • Blueprint customer requirements around HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, networks, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.

Skills and Competencies:

• Good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)

• Good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.)

• Good understanding of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition

• Good understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform

• English native speaker, any other language an asset

Work Experience:

• 7-12 years of hands-on customer-facing SAP Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience (eg, Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity, etc.)

• Experience with hosting providers and data centres is a BIG advantage; HANA / Suite on HANA skills would be very helpful, but not mandatory.

• Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor is necessary.
