Scientific Business Analyst Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Scientific Business Analyst to join our organization. As a Scientific Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business growth and success by analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex scientific data to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business strategies
  • Provide expertise on scientific software systems strategy, governance, and infrastructure
  • Develop product features for PI planning and developing product roadmaps and user journeys

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacology or Information Systems and 1-3 years of experience
  • Or Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacology or Information Systems and 3-5 years of experience
  • Diploma in Life Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacology or Information Systems and 7-9 years of experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and passion for solving complex challenges in drug discovery with technology
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum)
  • Superb communication skills and ability to work with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
  • Knowledge of experimental data analysis/management platforms such as Genedata Screener, GraphPad Prism, Benchling etc.
  • Experience with writing user requirements and acceptance criteria in agile project management systems such as JIRA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in a scientific domain area and related technology needs
  • Understanding of scientific software systems strategy, governance, and infrastructure
  • Experience in handling product features for PI planning and developing product roadmaps and user journey
  • Familiarity with low-code, no-code test automation software
  • Able to communicate technical or complex subject matters in business terms
  • Experience of business analysis best practices, DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery methodology

Professional Certifications:

  • SaFe for Teams certification (preferred)

  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
