Key role: Leading Dairy Operations Specialist

Establishment of a new dairy processing center in Hyderabad is underway, and we are seeking an experienced Dairy Operations SME to spearhead the establishment, commissioning, and smooth running of our plant.

The ideal candidate will bring profound expertise in dairy industry operations, plant setup, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance in setting up the new dairy processing center – from plant design to commissioning.
  • Define and implement SOPs for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
  • Set up supply chain and distribution processes for efficient milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Provide expertise in ERP integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
  • Act as a bridge between management, technical consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in dairy processing, operations, or plant management.
  • Proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).
  • Strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.
