Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 1

Job Description

In this key role, you will be responsible for reviewing customer specifications and identifying project scope. You will also generate project documents and drawings, perform engineering design, and conduct piping and structural analysis.

  • Review customer specifications/inputs and identify project scope.
  • Follow departmental and PMO processes.
  • Generate project documents and drawings.
  • Perform engineering design, including freezing project basic design and finalizing P&ID, mechanical equipment, and general arrangement drawings or equivalent experience.
  • Conduct piping and structural analysis and liaise with mechanical designers/mechanical engineers for design changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Validated experience in the fields of piping, oil and gas, and process industries.
  • Good knowledge of oil and gas industry equipment, instruments, piping, and structural work.
  • Good understanding of ASME, ANSI, API, API MPMS, ISO, and other industry standards related to oil and gas measurement services.
  • Familiarity with piping and structural welding and non-destructive testing.
  • Good experience of meter and prover sizing.
  • Ability to do stress analysis using CAESAR-II/STAAD or equivalent packages.
