Senior Mechanical Hydro Design Engineer

As a key technical lead in our engineering team, you will play a vital role in the coordination and delivery of mechanical hydro design projects. Your expertise in dams and hydro sectors will be essential in ensuring that project outcomes meet both client and company expectations.
The successful candidate will have significant mechanical engineering experience and skills in the dams and hydro sector. You should have a good understanding of how various disciplines within the sector come together to create an integrated solution.
You will be responsible for producing technical specifications, designs, and reports, as well as optioneering, outline, and detail design relating to hydro and dams. Additionally, you will integrate closely with associated disciplines for collaborative reviews and designs of solutions.
Your key accountabilities will include knowledge of international Codes and Standards in dams and hydro - mechanical, power & energy calculations, mechanical schedules, and preparation of Bill of Quantities. You will also guide the engineering/CAD team for quality delivery and carry out other duties as assigned by your supervisor/management.

Key Requirements- Mechanical Engineering Experience: Significant experience in dams and hydro sectors with a good understanding of integrated solutions

- Leadership: Ability to coordinate and deliver mechanical hydro design projects, guide the engineering/CAD team, and ensure quality delivery
