Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Email Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administering and maintaining MS Exchange versions, as well as on-premise infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Administering and maintaining MS Exchange versions (2013/2016/2019) and on-premise infrastructure, including backup and restore procedures, mailbox management, and public folder replication.
  • Providing advanced support for Exchange Online services, including hybrid configurations, mail flow troubleshooting, and message tracking.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting remote email access using Outlook and OWA.
  • Managing and maintaining anti-SPAM products and Enterprise Vault Servers.

Responsibilities Continued

  • Architecting, designing, and implementing solutions using Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Security & Compliance.
  • Handling Tier 3 operations and assisting Tier 1 and 2 teams with complex issues.
  • Troubleshooting advanced Office 365 issues using tools like PowerShell and diagnostic tools while adhering to SLA timelines.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve global technical issues.
  • Monitoring system performance and providing root cause analysis for complex issues.
  • Executing projects related to migrations, new implementations, and system improvements for Office 365.
  • Providing detailed reporting on Office 365-related tasks and tickets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Server OS (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019) and desktop environments (Windows 10/11).
  • Proficiency in MS Exchange protocols (SMTP, POP3, RPC/HTTPS, MAPI/HTTPS).
  • Experience with Exchange Hybrid Configurations and Azure AD Connect implementations.
  • In-depth understanding of Office 365 features, including DKIM, DMARC, transport rules, DLP policies, and retention/archival policies.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture and Microsoft Teams troubleshooting.
  • Advanced capabilities in tools like PowerShell, MFCMapi, IDFix, and diagnostic utilities.
  • Experience with ADFS Single Sign-On and backup/restoration tools for Exchange environments.
  • Strong grasp of network protocols (TCP/IP) and DNS mail traffic flows.
Eligibility Criteria

The ideal candidate will meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Level 3 engineer.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Microsoft certifications for Office 365 workloads are a plus.
