Lead Controls Expert

This role offers a unique blend of leadership, technical expertise, and global project exposure for an experienced professional.

  • Manage a team of controls engineers, driving skill and competency development to meet organizational objectives.
  • Oversee daily resource allocation, team escalations, hiring, and subcontracting activities to optimize project delivery.
  • Develop structured training programs to address team members' skills gaps and enhance overall performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a consultant, providing technical oversight and guidance on projects.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, driving improvements across the organization.
  • Ensure system performance validation through thorough FAT/SAT testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental KPIs.
  • Provide technical support during commissioning and ensure smooth customer handovers.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience managing controls engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in high-demand project environments.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities with a focus on delivering projects within time and budget constraints.
  • Proactive, innovative, and improvement-driven mindset.

Required Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Siemens PLC (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience in designing and executing integrated control systems.
  • Ability to align control designs with mechanical, electrical, and software project goals.
  • Skilled in preparing and executing detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Experience in driving standardization and process improvement across multiple projects.
  • Practical involvement in commissioning and customer delivery phases.
