We are seeking a highly experienced Civil & Structural WTG Foundation Design Specialist to join our Engineering Design Office. The successful candidate will design, analyze, and optimize wind turbine generator foundations ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

About the Role:

In this critical position, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing various types of WTG foundations including gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc. You will also perform complex structural load and stress calculations including gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue loads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Optimization: Develop and implement design solutions that ensure efficient and safe WTG foundation construction.
  • Structural Analysis: Perform advanced structural analysis and load calculations to determine the integrity of WTG foundations under various loading conditions.
  • Material Selection: Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations, as well as provide technical support to business development, procurement, EPC partners, and consultants.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • Experience: 8-12 years in the Power & Utilities sector with a focus on renewable energy foundations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D, and expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes.
