Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Strategist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and managing investment portfolios with a focus on long-term growth, risk management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management:
    • Develop and implement investment strategies that align with client objectives and risk tolerance.
    • Manage portfolios to optimize returns while minimizing risk.
    • Monitor and adjust portfolio allocations as needed to ensure alignment with market conditions.
  • Research Leadership & Idea Generation:
    • Conduct thorough research to identify potential investment opportunities.
    • Lead internal discussions to challenge assumptions and foster a collaborative environment.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the markets and industries we invest in.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Monitor and report on portfolio performance and risk metrics.
  • Client Communication & Thought Leadership:
    • Communicate portfolio performance and strategy to clients and stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain thought leadership pieces to articulate our investment approach and insights.
    • Present portfolio updates and market analysis to clients and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
    • MBA (Finance) or CFA Charterholder.
    • A minimum of 15 years of experience in Indian capital markets, including at least 6 years in independent fund management.
    • Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
