Job Title: Project Accounting and Capitalization Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our project accounting and capitalization team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing overall capex within approved limits, managing project progress, and providing management reporting on cost variance, actual spend, and forecasted cash flow.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Accounting and Capitalization: Ensure proper accounting of element-wise and stream-wise project costs, common cost allocation, finalisation of transfer pricing for inter-company transactions, and asset capitalisation.
  • Project Financing: Collaborate with the treasury and banking team for ECA and debt financing at optimized costs.
  • Inventory Management: Continuously monitor project inventory, partner with PMC's/sub-contractors, and perform inventory reconciliations.
  • Incentive Optimisation: Optimize state incentives, represent to government agencies, file documents and information as per policy, and design systems in line with incentive policy requirements.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and assess financial risks, develop strategies to mitigate and manage these risks effectively and efficiently, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Policies, Processes, and Procedures: Create standard policies, processes, and procedures that align with business objectives and monitor their adherence to ensure work is carried out in a controlled manner.
  • People Management: Mentor and develop respective teams to take larger responsibilities and efficiently perform their roles.
