Spectral Consultants seeks a seasoned leader to spearhead the development of our SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for an exceptional Vice President of Software Engineering who can develop and execute a platform engineering strategy aligned with product vision and business objectives.
  • The successful candidate will lead global R&D roadmap execution and drive product transformation initiatives.
  • This role involves building, mentoring, and retaining a high-performing, collaborative engineering organization.
  • Responsibilities also include overseeing development and operations of a scalable, reliable SaaS platform with high availability.
  • Our ideal candidate will partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure seamless launches and customer adoption.
  • They will make daily technical decisions balancing engineering, business, and customer needs.
  • Another key responsibility is driving continuous improvement in scalability, stability, performance, and security.
  • This individual should champion Agile methodologies and foster a data-driven engineering culture.
  • As a senior stakeholder representative, they will communicate progress, achievements, and key challenges.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 10 years leading SaaS platform/product development in Agile environments.
  • The successful candidate must have proven leadership managing engineering organizations of 100+ team members across diverse skill sets.
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, containers, APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, and serverless computing is required.
  • A strong understanding of software & infrastructure cost dynamics is essential.
  • Tech background in Java, .NET, AWS, RedHat, ETL tools, and front-end technologies; familiarity with Github Copilot, Jira is a plus.
  • A track record of coaching, mentoring, and building engineering talent pipelines is necessary.
