Unified Communications Expert

Are you passionate about designing and deploying Unified Communications solutions? Do you have a strong background in architecture and engineering?

We are seeking an experienced Unified Communications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and Troubleshooting Clusters: You will work with our team to design and troubleshoot clusters, inter-cluster trunks, and high availability configurations for Unified Communications Products like CUCM, CUC, IM & Presence, and Expressways.
  • PSTN Trunking & Interoperability: You will design and troubleshoot SIP trunks, PRIs with carriers, including codec negotiation, SIP headers, PRIs, and call routing logic.
  • CUBE & Voice Gateway Configurations: You will set up advanced IOS gateway setup (MGCP, H.323, SIP), dial peers, DSP resources, and survivability strategies.
  • Analog Devices: You will understand Analog Devices such as Analog Gateways, Analog Phones, Fax Devices, DTMF & Dial-tone behavior, FXS/FXO Ports.
  • Call Flow Engineering: You will design end-to-end call flow across multiple platforms (CUCM, Unity, UCCX/UCCE, Expressway).
  • Virtualization & Cloud Migration: You will deploy IPT solutions on UCS platforms or migrate to cloud-based collaboration (Webex Calling, Cisco HCS).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Capacity Planning & Scalability: Forecasting growth, designing scalable dial plans, and managing bandwidth across WAN links.
  • Disaster Recovery & Redundancy: Architecting failover strategies, backup systems, and DR testing protocols.
  • Integration Expertise: Connecting IPT with third-party systems (CRM, ERP, SIP endpoints, SBCs).
  • Change Control & Governance: Leading change advisory boards, documenting impact assessments, and enforcing configuration standards.
