The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing, testing, and maintaining Workday integrations using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Payroll Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Configuring and managing calculated fields, XSLT/XML transformations, and integration strategies.
  • Performing data conversions, migrations, and interface development between Workday and external systems.
  • Collaborating with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent teams to understand business requirements and deliver Workday solutions.
  • Providing technical support for Workday modules, including troubleshooting integration issues.
  • Building and supporting APIs and middleware integrations with third-party HR systems.

This role requires strong technical skills, including:

  • Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
  • Workday Studio (complex integrations)
  • Core/Payroll Connectors
  • Calculated Fields
  • XSLT/XML for transformations
  • Web Services (SOAP/REST)

A strong understanding of HR processes and fundamentals is also essential, as well as experience in at least two HR functional areas, such as HR Core, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Compensation, Time & Absence.

In addition to technical skills, excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities, strong documentation and design skills, and strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams are required.
