Job Title: Senior IT Risk Manager

Description:

  • The Technology Risk function plays a vital role in managing business risks across various divisions. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing insights and managing Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) risks.
  • You will contribute towards the bank's strategic goal of managing risk within appetite while enabling adoption of emerging technologies for business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Management: You will oversee a team of 35+ members, ensuring effective management of people-related subjects, including hiring, talent development, staff retention, cross-training, and cultivating a change and risk-conscious mindset.
  2. Risk Management: You will drive understanding and representation of IT& IS risks with business line heads across front-to-back divisions, working closely with the Head of Tech Risk Governance to implement initiatives successfully.
  3. Global Stakeholder Management: You will manage global stakeholders and prioritize delivery of DCO BOW from teams located in Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore.
  4. Innovation and Efficiency: You will lead innovation, efficiency initiatives & automation through Data Analytics or AI models to enhance maturity in Technology risk management and empower decision-making.
  5. Strategic Partnership: You will be a strategic partner with Senior Leadership, including DCO and business-aligned CIO divisions, to drive control-based risk exposure and management discussions.
  6. Transparency and Reporting: You will ensure management transparency by way of timely reporting and represent IT/IS risk types and remediation plans against appetite at divisional Non-financial Risk Council forums.
  7. Front Office Technology Risk: You will manage all aspects of Front Office Technology risk, working closely with Risk leads in the Technology divisions, including tracking Self-Identified Issues and Audit Findings.
  8. Collaboration and Alignment: You will work closely with peers leading other pillars in the team to establish an effective risk management 1st-line function in the Business.
  9. Alignment and Promotion: You will partner with 2nd LoD, NFRM to ensure alignment towards Group-wide minimum control standards and risk appetite framework.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in similar Technology risk roles in a front office IB/CB division or IT audit (internal/external) in a cross-cultural and diverse operating environment with knowledge of business products.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-wide risk landscape and global regulatory expectations.
  • Strong understanding of Industry best practices in Technology Risk Frameworks such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT), and fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Cloud-based services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with a result-oriented mindset.
