SAP Financial Configuration and Accounting Specialist

Job Description:

The role of the SAP FICA Consultant involves technical configuration and maintenance of financial components, including dunning, payments, account determination, write-offs, refunds, security deposits, promise to pay, and interest.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and Maintain FI-CA Components: Set up and manage financial accounting configurations in line with business requirements.
  • Business Analysis and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and communicate effectively with stakeholders in a multinational environment.
  • Elicit and Document Business Requirements: Work closely with end-users to gather and document functional specifications.
  • Technical Requirement Explanation: Articulate complex technical requirements to development teams.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with offshore and onsite teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • SAP Testing Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with testing tools is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of E2E implementations required.
  • Interface Knowledge: Excellent understanding of interfacing needs with third-party applications.
  • Business Analysis Expertise: Proven experience in business analysis.
  • Analysis and Design Skills: Strong analytical and design skills are necessary for this position.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
