Job Title: Senior Merchandiser

A key role in our organization is available for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Merchandiser to bridge the gap between design, production, and sales. The candidate will be responsible for material sourcing & sample coordination, in-house manufacturing oversight, product costing and efficiency management, quality assurance, production reporting, cross-functional coordination, and production planning & follow-up.

• Material Sourcing & Sample Coordination: Work closely with the design team to organize sample development, approvals, fabric and trim procurement for production orders.
• In-House Manufacturing Oversight: Liaise directly with the in-house production team to monitor sample production, resolve technical or production issues, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Product Costing and Efficiency Management: Work on product costing and optimal selling price. Support cost control efforts by monitoring fabric usage, trims, and production processes to optimize efficiency without compromising quality.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks at key production stages, highlight defects or deviations, and implement corrective measures in collaboration with production and quality teams.
• Production Reporting: Maintain accurate production tracking documents and provide timely updates to the design, sourcing, and management teams regarding production status and any potential delays.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work with design, sales, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on delivery timelines, material availability, and order fulfillment.
• Production Planning & Follow-up: Manage and track the production schedule from development through bulk manufacturing, ensuring timelines are met for seasonal collections and special projects.
• Technical Documentation: Ensure all tech packs, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and production specifications are complete, accurate, and communicated to the production floor.

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in apparel production merchandising, preferably in activewear or sportswear segments.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and production processes, especially for activewear (technical fabrics, stretch materials, etc.).
• Hands-on experience working in in-house manufacturing environments.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel in particular) and production tracking systems.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across design, production, and sales teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of innovative practices and raw material vendors in activewear production is a plus.
