Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Specialist to fill a key role in our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs, RTUs, and SCADAs.

Responsibilities:

  • Instrumentation and Control Systems: Must have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PLCs, RTUs, and SCADAs, as well as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and layout drawings.
  • Instrumentation Experience: Hands-on experience with various instruments such as flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, analysers, actuators, Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs), Flow Control Valves (FCVs), and electrical panel integration.
  • Cable Laying and Routing: Ability to interpret work plans and execute tasks efficiently according to site requirements, including cable laying with necessary accessories in trenches and trays, understanding cable schedules and routing drawings, and performing glanding, termination, and loop/Input-Output (IO) testing in the field.
  • Data Loggers and Commissioning: Proficiency in configuring and commissioning flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment.
  • Site Coordination and Safety: Responsible for providing site clearances to sub-contractors and in-house teams as per the plan, organizing all necessary facilities for sub-contractors, stakeholders, and in-house execution teams to ensure project targets are met, including installation and commissioning activities, implementing and managing safety protocols to ensure zero injury results, and prioritizing safety in all aspects of the job.
  • Communication and Documentation: Communicate project status updates to the reporting officer on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis, and assist the project management team in preparing required documents, reports, as-built drawings, and other necessary documentation.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering or Technology - Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Communication

Work Experience:

3 to 5 years of experience
