IT Security Professional Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT security professional to join our team as a Cyber Security Consultant.

About the Role:
  • Cyber Attack Simulation and Red Team Operations: The successful candidate will design and execute realistic attack simulations to test our network's security controls and incident response processes, deploying and disposing of red team infrastructure as required.
  • Threat Identification and Exploitation: They will identify and exploit vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications to achieve defined objectives.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Our ideal candidate will collaborate with our Blue Team to improve threat detection, monitoring, and alerting capabilities, and prepare detailed reports outlining findings, methods used, and recommendations for remediation.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Cyber Security Consultant will stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and tactics used by advanced threat actors, contributing to the development of Red Team processes, playbooks, and methodologies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in cyber security operations, including red teaming and threat simulation.
  • Proven track record of identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in complex systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
