Service Cost Engineer Position Overview

Altengineers collaborate to design, develop, and deliver innovative engineering solutions. As a Service Cost Engineer, you will be part of this collaborative environment where your passion for cost optimization in Aero Engines will thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify areas for improvement and cost reduction in service costs
  • Create business cases based on inputs to estimate savings and input into customer portals to create initiatives
  • Conduct self-reviews of work and present business cases with reviewers
  • Peer-review team members' work and provide feedback
  • Present business cases to customers and obtain initial approval to proceed with initiatives
  • Collaborate with various functions within the organization and with customers to progress initiatives and track them for completion
  • Present evidence of completion to customers at different gate levels to obtain agreement for closure at each gate
  • Regularly update trackers to reflect actual progress of KPIs and present status to Project Leads

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced engineer with exceptional knowledge of Gas Turbine Engines. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
