Job Description

A Technical Documentation Specialist at SmartQ will play a crucial role in maintaining the knowledge base of the organization, supporting effective communication, and ensuring that accurate information is accessible. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining various technical documents: user guides, product manuals, troubleshooting manuals, installation guides, quick start guides, presentations, videos, product tutorials, and more.
  • Crafting compelling narratives about SmartQ's product suite across formats such as documents, presentations, videos, and more.
  • Collaborating with product managers, software engineers, and subject matter experts to ensure accurate technical details.
  • Reviewing and editing documentation meticulously to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Working with product team to stay updated with new product features and following up on product documentation and video channel enablement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in technical writing with experience in B2B SaaS companies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Rapid adaptability to grasp and communicate technologies effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A proactive attitude, driven by continuous improvement.
