About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Engineer to join our team at Simublade. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user interfaces using React.js, ensuring responsive and visually appealing designs.
  • Implement and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Manage and optimize MongoDB databases, including data modeling, indexing, and querying.
  • Create and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and best practices.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end code.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features and improvements on time.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior developers and assist in their growth and skill development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full-stack or MERN Stack Developer, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong proficiency in Material UI, Tailwind CSS frameworks.
  • Expertise in React.js, NextJS and Tan Stack for front-end development.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for back-end development.
  • Experience with Postgres and other RDBMS databases.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience developing on microservices architecture, implementing security features like authentication, SSO and encryption.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS & GCP cloud services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack) and CSS pre-processors (e.g., Sass).
  • Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools.
  • Experience in Scaling, Load Balancing, Distributed Services, Databases
