Job Title: Product Merchandising Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Product Merchandising Specialist to support the growth and profitability of our Women's Ethnic Wear category.

About the Role:

This is a key position responsible for ensuring the right assortment of products is available at the right time, aligned with customer preferences and market trends. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve category targets and drive business results.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assortment Planning: Develop a customer-relevant product assortment that meets sales, margin, stock turn, and sell-through targets.
  • Seasonal Launches: Assist in planning seasonal launches and ensure product availability, working closely with the planning team to ensure assortments reflect market requirements and customer feedback.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing vendors, supporting onboarding of new suppliers aligned with product requirements.
  • Pricing Strategies: Analyze costing, margin trends, and competitor positioning to support pricing strategies.
  • Order Placement: Ensure alignment on materials, samples, and production timelines, tracking vendor performance and assisting in resolving escalations related to product quality, delivery, or costing.
Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Detailed knowledge of product details, category-specific nuances, and execution.
