Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the end-to-end merchandising process, you will be responsible for coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and the production team to deliver high-quality products that meet customer requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the design team to develop seasonal collections based on customer demands.
  • Develop samples, negotiate prices, and confirm orders with buyers.
  • Manage material orders within tight deadlines and work on optimizing budgets and costs.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, be an independent worker, and adapt to changing environments and challenges.
  • Experience in handling both small and large-scale businesses is required.
  • Effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams is essential.
  • Technical knowledge of woven garment manufacturing processes for various categories, such as shirts, jackets, and bottoms.
  • Leadership and management experience are necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, or Fashion Technology.
  • 1-8 years of experience as a merchandiser in a woven garment factory (buyer handling experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, costing, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/MIS systems.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet strict deadlines is required.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth through effective merchandising strategies. They must possess strong costing knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
