Job Title: Financial Crime Prevention Specialist
  • We are seeking a resource with 3-5 years in Know Your Customer (KYC) Sanctions Screening experience. Overall experience should not exceed 7 years.
  • Candidates must be based out of Bangalore location, working for our clients remotely on-site.
  • The selected candidate will have to undergo training program at our Bangalore office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Screen individuals and entities against global sanction lists issued by Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), European Union (EU), United Nations (UN), and other international agencies.
  2. Review high-risk scenarios and identify potential sanctions screening matches.
  3. Identify false positives and recommend updates to the exception/internal list.
  4. Analyze alerts to identify close or exact match hits based on name/country/address combination.
  5. Have good knowledge of regulatory practices in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), OFAC, and sanctions laws.
  6. Fully document all alerts, including supporting data, analysis, and escalation rationale.
  7. Build relationships with AML Investigations units and communicate information for case investigations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in compliance or related position.
  • Familiarity with internal systems and processes.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong documentation skills and adherence to controls and standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.
  • Full-time master's degree/equivalent is an added bonus.
