Energy Market Researcher

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Energy Market Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our research department, you will be responsible for managing research projects from concept development and planning to execution and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and product analyses in renewable energy sectors, photovoltaics, storage, e-mobility.
  • Develop and implement ideas for evaluations and statistical analyses using internal and external datasets, continuously improving models, tools, and reporting methods.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, present research findings to clients, and contribute insights internally as well as for marketing and communication purposes.
  • Participate in all stages of research projects, from questionnaire design and programming to graphics creation, final reporting, and maintenance of internal databases.

Requirements:

  • Completed university degree in economics, political science, business psychology, geography, market and communication research, statistics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in research or project management. Ideally, first professional experience in renewable energy, photovoltaics, storage, and/or e-mobility.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Experience with SPSS.
  • Knowledge of Python is an advantage and will be considered a plus during selection.
  • Enthusiastic about working with data and numbers, with a structured, independent, and reliable approach.
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with high team spirit and commitment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. German language skills are a plus but not mandatory for this position.
