About the Job: HCLTech is looking for a skilled Associate / Senior Executive - Credit Risk Assessment to join our team in Chennai. As a key member of our lending operations, you will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness and assessing risk associated with loan applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customers' current financial position, employment history, credit history, and ability to pay.
- Analyze complex-subject matters quickly and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
- Experience in assessing credit risk and providing outcomes on loan applications.
- Expertise in customer-centric communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and financial assessment skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in any field.
- 2+ years of experience in Pre-underwriting, Loan Processing, Mortgage Underwriting or Post Close Underwriting in Australian Mortgage, USA & UK mortgage domain.
- Proven work experience as a Mortgage Underwriter or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Australia, USA, or UK lending regulations.
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and other relevant software applications.
