Job Title: Coffee Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled coffee professional to assume the position of Coffee Procurement Specialist. This role requires strong technical expertise, relationship skills, and passion for coffee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate beans at various farms and curing works across the region prior to purchase.
  • Carry out quality checks from farm collection to curing and sorting.
  • Analyze samples to ensure consistency with export specifications.
  • Prepare detailed reports on traceability and quality for each lot procured.
  • Coordinate procurement activities following contract finalization with suppliers.
  • Manage logistics from farm to curing works and up to export stage (sampling, weighing, warehousing).
  • Maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and curing units.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in coffee (procurement, quality control, cupping, or farm-level operations).
  • Strong knowledge of green coffee beans, grading, curing processes, and cup quality analysis.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation for traceability and compliance.
  • Familiarity with export-related logistics and processes is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Kannada is mandatory; basic English is required for reporting and supplier/buyer coordination.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region's coffee-growing areas.
  • High integrity, reliability, and genuine passion for coffee are essential.
