About the Role:

This senior procurement position is responsible for driving business growth through effective sourcing strategies, cost optimization, and vendor management.

  • Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Drive bulk buying and project-based procurement for long lead items and engineered bought-outs.
  • Establish rate contracts, manage e-auctioning platforms, and oversee price benchmarking for strategic categories.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve procurement goals, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  2. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and resolve disputes in a collaborative and professional manner.
  3. Analyze spend data, identify cost savings opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of project procurement, rate contracting, and e-auctions.
    • Familiarity with technical specifications of EPC/APC projects and bought-out items.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle), MS Excel (advanced), Power BI, and PLM platforms.
  • Leadership & Managerial Competencies:
    • Ability to lead high-performing teams and drive business outcomes through strategic decision-making.
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills for high-value/volume sourcing.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management across engineering, project management, finance, and legal functions.
