We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to spearhead our compliance initiatives and ensure seamless operations across geographies. This is a full-time, 5-day work from office role based in Bangalore.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be able to own projects end-to-end, and have expertise in contract negotiation, global frameworks, and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements (vendor, employment, IP, SaaS, partnerships, global contracts)
  • Advising on global compliance (GDPR, cross-border employment, IP rights)
  • Ensuring compliance with Indian & international laws (Companies Act, IT Act, labour laws, etc.)
  • Managing secretarial duties (board meetings, filings, ROC compliance)
  • Liaising with external counsel & advisors
  • Supporting fundraising, due diligence, and corporate projects
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' corporate legal experience (start-ups/law firms preferred)
  • LLB (Company Secretary is a plus)
  • Contract negotiation, global frameworks, compliance expertise
  • Experience with cross-border transactions
  • Strong governance & stakeholder skills
