Pricing Strategist Role

As a Pricing Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by delivering comprehensive and competitive cost/pricing analysis during the bid and proposal process.

Your key responsibility will be to manage the overall cost/pricing process while ensuring effective analysis of customer requirements, development of competitive bid pricing, and contribution to winning proposals.

In addition to bid/proposal work, you will provide financial reporting support to stakeholders as needed.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of their specialty who can resolve complex issues creatively and work on diverse problems with minimal instruction.

The successful candidate will draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects, create reports reflecting metrics and project status, client-level P&L, objectives, and KPIs, and communicate findings effectively to relevant departments.

This individual will work closely with the sales and delivery teams to define pricing structures for company services offered, identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels, and scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry conditions.

You must be able to read and understand technical/requirement documents, legal documents such as customer contracts, and think critically to develop well-reasoned analysis, identify relevance and importance of information, and solve problems systematically and creatively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

You should have experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and market research.

Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, market trends, and industry conditions is essential.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
