Job Description:

The role of a telecom network audit specialist involves conducting thorough examinations of telecommunications networks to identify areas for improvement and recommending effective mitigation strategies and controls.

This position requires the ability to assess telecom networks from commercial and financial perspectives, identifying risks associated with network operations. The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive audit plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

The telecom network audit specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security professionals, and compliance officers. They will maintain detailed documentation of audit findings, observations, and recommendations, preparing reports for stakeholders and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of telecom networks to identify areas for improvement and recommend effective mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Assess telecom networks from commercial and financial perspectives, identifying risks associated with network operations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security professionals, and compliance officers.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of audit findings, observations, and recommendations, preparing reports for stakeholders and management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field is preferred. An MBA from a reputable institution would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a related field (network planning, design, or operation) preferably in internal audit, consulting, advisory services, or professional services.
  • Proven track record in conducting internal audits within telecommunications or networking environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and effectively communicate with stakeholders and management.
  • Familiarity with relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or equivalent certifications would be advantageous.
