Job Title: Telcom Network Design Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Telcom Network Design Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable datacenter networks using Cisco ACI or Juniper QFX-based IP Clos fabrics.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in 5G transport networks, including fronthaul, midhaul, and backhaul (IP/MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN). They will work with RAN and Core teams to ensure alignment of transport strategy with overall mobile network architecture.
Main Responsibilities:- Datacenter Network Design: Develop high-level and low-level network designs, network diagrams, and migration strategies.
- Transport Network Architecture: Design and deploy E2E transport network architectures supporting 4G/5G, including fronthaul, midhaul, and backhaul.
- Collaboration: Interface with RAN and Core teams to ensure alignment of transport strategy with overall mobile network architecture.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing detailed BOQs based on customer or project requirements and evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and vendors.
To succeed in this role, you will require excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to challenge and manage the change of status quo. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Telecom/Computer Engineering or related field and 8-10 years of experience in telecom and datacenter network design and deployment is essential.
Requirements:- Expertise in 5G Transport Networks: Strong knowledge of fronthaul, midhaul, and backhaul (IP/MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN).
- Datacenter Network Design: Experience in designing and deploying scalable datacenter networks using Cisco ACI or Juniper QFX-based IP Clos fabrics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
