At Avistrat, we are on the lookout for an exceptional professional to lead our systems engineering team. This role involves spearheading digital engineering practices and building a strong foundation in organizations through formal Systems Engineering methodologies.

We are seeking an expert with more than 8 years of industry experience, who has a passion for working in the aerospace domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product development and systems architecture, along with experience in modeling and simulation using MBSE/MBSD tools like SysML.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects and teams of Systems Engineers, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. They will also be expected to work closely with clients and stakeholders, providing process trainings when required.

Key qualifications include a BTech/MTech degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or equivalent. A certification in Systems Engineering is highly desirable.

  • Proficient in requirements management tools like IBM DOORS and Polarion
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership

  • Competency building of team members

2. Project Execution

  • Understanding customer requirements and breaking down project activities into tasks for team members
  • Reviewing projects to ensure quality and on-time delivery
  • Reviewing deliverables with customers and stakeholders

3. Process Improvement

  • Defining SE processes as required in the project
  • Exploring MBSE tools and implementing SE processes
  • Providing process trainings to clients when required

4. Project Management

  • Working with the project manager to define project plans
  • Regularly updating project progress
