Business Development Manager for Photography Services

About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a strong understanding of photography services and their value proposition. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Client Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients through regular communication, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Presentation Skills: Effectively present customized photography packages to clients, highlighting the unique benefits and value of our services.
- Negotiation Skills: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients in a fair and transparent manner, resulting in mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to ensure seamless execution of client projects, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and sales performance using our CRM system.
- Industry Events: Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, generate leads, and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Sales Expertise: Strong background in sales, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage clients, present services effectively, and build strong relationships.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate pricing and contracts while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Relationship Building: Capable of establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, resulting in repeat business and referrals.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software to manage leads, track client interactions, and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the photography, creative, or event management industries.
- Photography Knowledge: Basic understanding of photography services, including different types of shoots (weddings, events, commercial) and pricing models.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with using sales software, email marketing, and social media platforms to generate leads.
