Lead Human-Centered AI Designer

We are seeking a seasoned Interaction Designer with hands-on experience designing cutting-edge AI-powered products. This role demands both a strong foundation in human-centered design principles and an understanding of how AI systems influence user experience.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as we work on innovative AI solutions impacting the public sector. As a Lead Human-Centered AI Designer, you will be responsible for collaborating with product managers, AI engineers, and UX/UI designers to design seamless user interactions for AI-driven applications.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows that bring AI capabilities to life in a clear and human-friendly manner.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand AI model behavior and constraints to design effective input/output experiences.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback and behavioral data.
  • Evaluate and ensure accessibility, ethical design, and trust-building in AI interactions.
  • Advocate for a design process that considers explainability, transparency, and user control when working with AI features.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or related role, with at least 1 year working on AI-enabled products.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing interaction design work, preferably with AI or data-driven features.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • An understanding of AI-specific UX challenges like uncertainty handling, user trust, and model explainability.
  • The ability to translate technical AI concepts into intuitive user experiences.
