Job Description
Network cybersecurity engineer is a highly skilled professional responsible for ensuring the security and effectiveness of internet access for internal customers, applications, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include implementing, managing, and supporting Zscaler Secure Internet Access platform, products, and features. This involves policy design/configuration, rule optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure secure and efficient internet access.

Additionally, network cybersecurity engineers implement and manage DDoS protection solutions with cloud scrubbing technology to prevent malicious traffic. They also support and manage advanced remote access technologies to ensure secure connectivity for remote users.

The role requires collaboration with the Digital Perimeter Security team to respond to security incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution. Network cybersecurity engineers must maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security products, configurations, policies, and incident response procedures.

Furthermore, this position involves working closely with other IT and security teams to ensure seamless operation and integration of security tools and practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Network or security certifications such as CISSP, PCSAE, PCCSE, CCNP, CCIE
Experience with AAA systems such as LDAP, MS AD, ID tokenization (SAML/OAuth)
10+ years of networking experience including support focus on network infrastructure, Data Center technologies, and Cloud compute
~2+ years of data loss prevention (DLP) experience
SSL, network troubleshooting skills including the use of Wireshark and other network tools
General firewalls and packet filtering experience and troubleshooting
DDoS support experience
